multi cloth
You wonder, what is a multi cloth? Well, it can be anything! Use it in the kitchen as a dishcloth, reusable paper towel or to clean any surface in your home. Use it in the bathroom as a washcloth or face towel. Use it on the table as a napkin or potholder. Use it for baby as a burp cloth or on the go to clean kids hands.

checkered check
A set of colourful multi cloths in a design I call checkered check; it’s a check on top of a check. The design allows for a fun collaboration for the different remainders used on the warp and weft. The towel is airy; the front and back 50% terry and 50% flat, allowing it to dry quickly and use it for very wet purposes.

colours
As the towels are produced with small batches of industry remainders they vary in color, however, the general palette is always maintained and the towels from a certain color palette will go together easily. The towel you receive might be exactly the same or slightly different from the ones you see in the photos on this page. The duo consists of one towel with mostly cold tones, and one with mostly warm tones.

care
Machine laundry 30 degrees Celsius.

With a cardboard hangtag designed by Rachel Sender.

editions & colours

The odds & ends editions are produced in batches. The factory collects remainders and I use these colours to create a new design which is then produced. That exact design is only a start, along the production the left overs run out and are replaced with similar colours. Therefor the images you see in the photo’s are an indication of what the towels look like, but there’s small variations within the batch.

striped hem

Recognize a Odds & Ends towel by it’s signature striped hem.  Each item in the collection comes with this hem that is made on a jacquard machine.

production in Portugal

The Odds & Ends textiles are produced in Portugal with 100% cotton industry remainders. That’s small batches of yarn that are left over from other productions.

designs

I made several designs with the idea that they get only more interesting if we use more colours, read: even the smallest remainders. The designs are produced in several similar colours and even within the edition there’s differences, because when colours run out they are replaced with new ones and that’s where coincidence takes over :D!

label for hanging

All items are designed to dry quickly and come with a label for hanging.
