Odds & Ends concept
Colorful home textiles – made of industry leftovers
When factories dye yarns to weave textiles, they make some extra – just incase – but they often go unused. The Odds & Ends textiles are designed to get the most out of these remainders, creating endless unexpected color combinations!
Design: wild weave
Wild weave refers to the original process of weaving and the archetype tea towel. In this design, many different colors come together in an unexpected but interesting way.
Care and laundry instructions
All Odds & Ends textiles can be washed in the cotton program of your washer at 30 degrees Celsius with similar colors. Using organic powder-detergent for color will keep colors bright for a long time. Line drying will also extend the life cycle off Odds & Ends. However, terry items such as fluffy towels – especially those with a velour finish – can benefit from an occasional drying session with the dryer at medium heat. This will soften the fibers without the need for a chemical softener. If the water in your area is rich in lime, you can treat your towels and washing machine with a citric acid or vinegar rinse from time to time to soften them.
Snags
This product is woven with terry loops to make it soft and absorbent. Terry loops are prone to snags in newly woven fabrics, so please be careful with jewelry when you first use this item. If snags do occur, don’t panic. Simply and safely cut them off with a pair of sharp scissors – never pull on snags – and the snag won’t run any further, nor will this harm the woven structure. After the first use the fibers will get less prone to snags.Â

Care Instructions
All Odds & Ends textiles can be washed at 60°C on a cotton programme with similar colours. For a longer life, we recommend washing at 30°C. An organic, colour-safe detergent can help keep the colours looking bright, while line drying can help your textiles last even longer.
For terry products, especially those with a velour finish, occasional tumble drying at medium heat can help keep them soft without the need for fabric softener. If you live in an area with hard water, a little citric acid or vinegar in the rinse can help soften both the water and your towels.
Snags
Some Odds & Ends products are woven with terry loops to give them that soft, absorbent texture. When new, these loops can be a little more prone to snagging, so watch out for jewellery during the first few uses.
If a snag happens, don’t worry. Simply cut it off with a pair of sharp scissors. Whatever you do, don’t pull it! Cutting the snag prevents it from running further and won’t damage the woven structure. With time and use, the fibres become less prone to snagging.
Production
Odds & Ends textiles are made in Portugal using 100% cotton industry remainders. These are small quantities of yarn left over from other textile productions. Instead of going to waste, they get a second life as something useful and beautiful.
Colours
Odds & Ends towels are made in small batches using surplus industry yarns, so colours can vary from one batch to another. We keep the overall palette consistent, so pieces within the same colour family still work well together. Your towel may look slightly different from the one in the photos, but the overall colour and feel will remain the same.Â
