Wild Weave
Wild Weave refers to the original weaving technique and the archetypal tea towel. In this design, a variety of colours come together in an unexpected yet harmonious way.
Wereldwijven
The ladies of the social project Wereldwijven ateliers in Dordrecht have crafted these lovely washgloves from second-choice terry kitchen towels. The second choice quality usually consists of products that have a weaving or sewing mistake, and we keep those aside for Wereldwijven to sew cool new products with them. The towels are made from random leftovers from past editions. You’ll receive a mix of 5 different ones.
The size is approximately 15 cm by 21 cm.
wash glove
Perhaps typical for the Netherlands but useful anywhere: Slide them over your hands, add soap, and use them to wash yourself under the shower, or even use them at the sink to skip a shower, saving water, energy, and time.
Care Instructions
All Odds & Ends textiles can be washed at 30°C on the cotton program with similar colours. Use organic colour-safe detergent to keep hues vibrant. Line drying will help prolong the life of your items. For terry products—especially those with a velour finish—an occasional tumble dry on medium heat will help maintain softness without needing fabric softeners.
In areas with hard water, a rinse with citric acid or vinegar can soften both towels and your washing machine.
The odds & ends editions are produced in batches. The factory collects remainders and I use these colours to create a new design which is then produced. That exact design is only a start, along the production the left overs run out and are replaced with similar colours. Therefor the images you see in the photo’s are an indication of what the towels look like, but there’s small variations within the batch.
Recognize a Odds & Ends towel by it’s signature striped hem. Each item in the collection comes with this hem that is made on a jacquard machine.
The Odds & Ends textiles are produced in Portugal with 100% cotton industry remainders. That’s small batches of yarn that are left over from other productions.
Each item comes with a hang tag or sleeve designed by Rachel Sender. On the back you find more information about the project.

I made several designs with the idea that they get only more interesting if we use more colours, read: even the smallest remainders. The designs are produced in several similar colours and even within the edition there’s differences, because when colours run out they are replaced with new ones and that’s where coincidence takes over :D!
All items are designed to dry quickly and come with a label for hanging.
