Production

Bubble Buddy was designed by Foekje Fleur and is made in Delft from Dutch post-consumer recycled household plastic. It comes in a gift box designed by Rachel Sender, printed in the Netherlands on eco-friendly cardboard using eco-friendly ink.

Colours

Bubble Buddy comes in eight different colours. This colourful soap grater makes a fun, practical gift for anyone looking to use less plastic, whether for yourself or someone else. Use it with the included organic soap bar to make soapy water for dishes, laundry and other household chores, or follow our recipe to make your own liquid soap.

Sea Shepherd Edition

Alongside our eight standard colours, we created a special Sea Shepherd edition in collaboration with Sea Shepherd, a global marine conservation organisation that protects ocean wildlife and helps remove harmful waste, such as abandoned fishing gear, from our seas.

Available in light green and dark green, these Bubble Buddies are made from a mix of recycled ocean plastic and recycled household plastic. The colours come naturally from the reclaimed materials, with discarded fishing nets, also known as ghost nets, giving each edition its own unique look.

This collaboration is especially close to our hearts. Sea Shepherd helped recover the ocean plastic used to make these Bubble Buddies and receives a donation for every one sold. Each Sea Shepherd edition also comes with a Dr. Bronner’s Citrus Bar Soap. The brand has long supported Sea Shepherd, and the versatile soap can be used for dishes, hands, body and even hair.
